Juventus midfielder Arthur is expected to be on the bench in this Saturday’s league clash against Lazio.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder has began running in training, recovering from a leg injury after finishing a treatment cycle of focal shockwaves.

The former Barcelona man’s condition is being closely monitored by the Bianconeri, but he is showing positive signs and so is expected to be in the squad list for the upcoming match against Lazio, although he will start the game on the bench.

The Turin based club are hoping that Arthur will be fully fit in time for next week’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Porto, which they are currently trailing 2-1.

Arthur has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Juventus, for a total of 1293 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal.
