Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo does not seem set to start Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt against Lazio on the weekend.
According to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today, the 21-year-old Dutch centre back was injured in the warm-up for the match against Spezia earlier this week.

Although he has not sustained any muscle injuries, coach Pirlo does not want to risk losing the player for a more significant time period, and so will rest him against the Biancocelesti this weekend.
The Bianconeri want de Ligt fit for their Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Porto next week, which they currently trail 2-1 on aggregate.
De Ligt has made 21 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1726 minutes. In that time, he has picked up five yellow cards and helped the side keep nine clean sheets.
