Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is thinking about starting 20-year-old Italian Nicolò Fagioli against Lazio tomorrow.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Bianconeri are currently experiencing a slight midfield crisis, with both Arthur and Rodrigo Bentancur both set to miss the match against the Biancocelesti tomorrow.

Pirlo’s options in midfield include Weston McKennie, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, but the Italian coach wants a more balanced midfield, and so is thinking of starting the 20-year-old Fagioli.

The Italian midfielder, who can play as a regista, has made 13 appearances for the Under-23 squad so far this season, for a total of 890 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.

For the first team, Fagioli has only made two appearances, including a start against SPAL in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. The game would be an important test for the 20-year-old Italian.
