Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is thinking about starting 20-year-old Italian Nicolò Fagioli against Lazio tomorrow.

Pirlo’s options in midfield include Weston McKennie, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, but the Italian coach wants a more balanced midfield, and so is thinking of starting the 20-year-old Fagioli.

The Italian midfielder, who can play as a regista, has made 13 appearances for the Under-23 squad so far this season, for a total of 890 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.

For the first team, Fagioli has only made two appearances, including a start against SPAL in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. The game would be an important test for the 20-year-old Italian.
