As Lazio and Juventus FC fight for three points in a tight top-four race in Serie A. However, there are some talks about a possible deal that an agent suggests should involve both these clubs.

Italian football agent Vincenzo Morabito made an appearance on Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) today where he talked about Sergej Milinkovic-Savic; specifically how it’s time for Serbian midfielder to move on to greener pastures. Furthermore, the Italian stated that Juventus should be one of the clubs pursuing the 26-year-old.

I’m not his agent, but this could be the right summer for Milinkovic-Savic to join Juventus. We’re back to the pre-Neymar era, his asking price was €100m, now it’s around €50m. It is the right time for the Bianconeri to sign him, but also for the player and for Lazio.

Over the last few years, Lazio has seen various rumours on the interest from clubs across Europe regarding Milinkovic-Savic. Regardless, no one has met the Biancocelesti’s demand, and with the midfielder under contract until 2024, there’s no rush to move him.

Nonetheless, with clubs all over the world taking hits with their financial revenue, departing with players is one way to lessen the blow. Furthermore, Milinkovic-Savic’s tenure in Rome could hinge on whether Lazio can make it back to the UEFA Champions League.

Regardless, it will be an interesting transfer saga to follow.
