Heading into half-time with momentum is not crucial, but it certainly doesn’t hurt a club.

However, for Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio, they are unfortunately one of the worst teams in Europe for conceding goal close to halftime and have rarely had the chance to experience a positive end to a half.

Lazio Page states that the Biancocelesti have a -8 goal differential between the 31st and 45th minute of a match this season. Inzaghi’s side has conceded eight goals between that time frame while only scoring one goal.

When it comes to Europe, Lazio is the fourth-worst side of conceding a goal between the 31st and 45th minute. Only Sheffield United FC, West Bromwich Albion FC, and FC Schalke 04 have conceded more goals in that time frame than Lazio.

The clubs ahead of Lazio are currently battling relegation in their respective leagues, so fortunately for the Biancocelesti, they haven’t let this statistic doom them in the standings yet…
