Former Italian Manager Giordano: “If Lazio Do Not Finish at Least Fourth, It Will Be a Disastrous Year”

Former Italian manager Bruno Giordano has called on Lazio to finish in the top-four in the Serie A table in order to avoid a letdown campaign.

Lazio currently stands at seventh in the league standings, which is not a place where many predicted that the Biancocelesti would be at this point in the season. But due to recent losses against the likes of Juventus and Bologna, the Biancocelesti’s top-four aspirations are beginning to slowly fade away.

Giordano (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) believes that Lazio must be among the Italian clubs to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League competition in order at the least salvage some of this season.

It’s a Lazio that’s struggling a lot. The coach is trying to cover up a few things, but they have suffered a lot since the defeat against Inter.

They are out of the Coppa Italia and have one and a half feet out of the Champions League.

If Lazio do not finish at least fourth, it will be a disastrous year.

Lazio could sure use another multi-game winning streak at this point in the season.
