Former Italian Manager Sonetti Analyzes Lazio’s Recent Inconsistent Play in Serie A

Former Italian manager Nedo Sonetti provided insight on some reasons for Lazio’s recent inconsistent play in Serie A.

Lazio is just coming off of the 3-1 loss to Juventus in Serie A play. Although Lazio scored the opener of the match, the Biancocelesti still could not hold off the reigning Serie A champions as the side scored a trio of unanswered goals.

Lazio still remains outside the top six in the league standings.

Sonetti (via Cittaceleste) sees that this Lazio team can beat any Serie A club, but inconsistencies remain one of the themes of its season.

Lazio is a good team. In a single match, they can win against anyone. Their problem is that they can’t play at certain rhythms all season long. The only way to get out of this bad period is to regain confidence. Often coaches are put at the center of the problem, but most of the time it doesn’t depend on him, but on the players.

Lazio still has plenty of key fixtures upcoming that could help the side pick up momentum for its goal of reaching the top-four in the league standings.
