Formello: Lazio Wing-Back Lazzari Resumed Individual Training After Calf Injury

Lazio wing back Manuel Lazzari resumed individual training today in the training session in Formello.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian trained separately on the pitch, who is currently out injured with an elongated right calf injury.

It’s unlikely that he will feature against Crotone, with his concrete return being in time for the match against Udinese on the 21st March.

Stefan Radu again trained with the squad today, confirming his physical condition, and so he is now likely to start against Crotone on Friday.

Coach Simone Inzaghi will begin tactical exercises tomorrow, with possible rotations also being considered ahead of next week’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash against Bayern Munich.

Some players, like Ciro Immobile, have featured heavily and a short rest may help them return to top form, although there is also a desire to beat the Calabrian side in strong fashion to regain momentum.
