Lazio is currently in the midst of another run of sluggish performances in Serie A.
The Biancocelesti is coming off of the showing against Juventus in which defensive errors marred the fixture for the Rome-based side. The 3-1 loss gave Lazio a third defeat in its last four league fixtures.
For Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti (via La Lazio Simao Noi), he sees growing concern over the team’s quality of play as of late.
Now Lazio is slow, predictable, we can no longer be surprised by these results. There are better teams.
Sconcerti also touched on Simone Inzaghi and whether it should be the end of the line for his time at Lazio.
Not necessarily. But there would be no wonder if they decided to discontinue. I don’t think Inzaghi would have much appeal at a high level. There are a lot of good coaches out there now.
Lazio has a key league fixture upcoming against Crotone, which is now a must-win match for the Biancocelesti.
