Lazio President Lotito Complained About Recent Performances to Inzaghi & Squad

Lazio president Claudio Lotito met with the squad yesterday to complain about the team’s poor run of form.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti president is unhappy about the players’ attitudes on the pitch in recent weeks, and he was not afraid to share his frustrations with the star players, as well as the rest of the squad.

Coach Simone Inzaghi was criticised for the perceived unsatisfactory management of the squad, with players being used out of position and minimal rotations being used.

Another hot topic is that of Inzaghi’s contract renewal, which is still being delayed. Both parties have declared that an agreement has been practically reached, but talks have been frozen at the moment owing to this period of crisis.

Lazio will be hoping to bounce back against Crotone on Friday, ahead of next week’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
