Lazio’s Inzaghi to Rotate the Squad Against Crotone, Strakosha & Radu May Start

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is planning to rotate the squad a little in Friday’s match against Crotone, ahead of next week’s Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 44-year-old Italian coach is likely to start Mateo Musacchio, Andreas Pereira and Felipe Caicedo in Friday’s meeting with the Calabrian side, giving some rest to Ciro Immobile or Joaquin Correa in particular.

Defender Stefan Radu may also start, recovering from a hernia operation last month, as the coach wants him to regain a little match fitness ahead of next week’s big game.

Albanian goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha may also start, given Pepe Reina’s poor performance against Juventus on the weekend.

Despite their painful 4-1 loss in the first leg last month, Lazio are still looking to impress in next week’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Bayern, who have looked as dominant as ever in the Bundesliga in recent weeks.
