Lazio goalkeeper Pepe Reina surprised Napoli left back Faouzi Ghoulam with a visit after the 30-year-old Algerian underwent knee surgery.
According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 38-year-old Spanish veteran decided to visit his former teammate, who has just suffered a cruciate ligament rupture for the third time in his career.

Ghoulam is currently in Villa Stuart in Rome recovering from knee surgery and Reina decided to visit the 30-year-old Algerian, cheering him up in a difficult period.
The Napoli left back was surprised and moved, as he wasn’t expecting a visit from the former Liverpool and AC Milan shot stopper. The two have a strong relationship from their time together in Naples.

Ghoulam made 17 appearances across all competitions this season for the Partenopei, for a total of 591 minutes. In that time, he provided one assist, only earning three league starts.
