Coach Simone Inzaghi: “We’ll Try to Play a Real Lazio Game Against Crotone”

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi highlighted the need to bounce back in tomorrow’s match against Crotone.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Lazio Style Channel (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 44-year-old Italian spoke about tomorrow’s match.

We’re up against a team who have won a lot, they’ve just changed coach. Crotone play good football and will come here to play their game and we have to approach it in the best possible way. We come from a complicated period and we want to get back to winning ways but it won’t be an easy game.

We lost against Juventus in a bad way, we had 35-40 minutes in the best possible way. Once we conceded the equaliser we got disunited, the past has been analysed as it should be but now, we have to look to the future and the future is called Crotone, a game we have to approach in the best possible way.

The team has worked well, today we will have to do the last session to see the players who will be available, we will try to play a real Lazio game.

Inzaghi then touched on Italian star Ciro Immobile’s European Golden Boot award.

He deserved it for the work he’s done over the years. As it should be, the president has spoken highly of the guy’s qualities.

I was happy that he thanked his team-mates because it was thanks to them and their help that he was able to receive such an important award.
