Lazio striker Ciro Immobile’s agents Marco Sommella and Alessandro Moggi highlighted their pride at the 31-year-old Italian’s European Golden Boot award.
Speaking in an interview earlier today as reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Sommella first touched on the meaning of the award.
The satisfaction is seeing everyone’s sacrifice repaid. He has always scored goals and over time he has improved his repertoire, and now he also scores with his head.
Moggi then spoke about the importance of Immobile’s arrival at Lazio.
He was on his way out of Sevilla after a loan at Torino, we knew we could get him. We explained the conditions to Tare and Lotito and they closed the deal.
Now Ciro is enjoying his golden moment, hoping to repeat the feats he did in the Biancoceleste shirt with the national team.
The 31-year-old Immobile was awarded the Golden Boot award yesterday, awarded thanks to his 36 league goals in 37 games last season.
