Lazio midfielder Adam Marusic opened up on what his favorite position is with the Biancocelesti.
Marusic is currently having a standout campaign with Lazio. The Biancocelesti talent has so far recorded four goal contributions in 24 Serie A appearances this season.
As Marusic detailed to Lazio’s official match program for the Crotone fixture, he is having his top campaign so far with Lazio.
This is definitely my best season since I’ve been at Lazio. I worked hard both in the summer and during the sporting year to improve physically. I’m happy with how I’m doing, and I hope to continue like this.
Marusic also spoke about the one position he prefers to play in with Lazio.
I certainly feel better as a winger, but if I have to help the team, I can also play as a central defender. All the staff gave me some advice to express myself better in this position.
