Former Lazio coach Delio Rossi thought that coach Simone Inzaghi must decide whether he wants to start a new cycle with the team or not.
Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, Rossi spoke about Inzaghi’s future and a possible contract renewal.
A cycle has certainly ended with this year, so Simone has to understand if he wants to start again, maybe with other players, even with younger players and more bets.
The way I am, I wouldn’t have had any problems in his place.
He touched on if Inzaghi will accept an offer from another team.
Simone’s will makes the difference, it depends on what he wants. If he wants to go and compete in another club, maybe even a more prestigious one, or say no, I think I’m up to it and I want to start again.
The former Biancocelesti coach commented on what he would do.
I don’t count, I’m a romantic fool and I’d stay in Rome because I’ve always felt at home there.
Finally, Rossi spoke about Argentine defender Mateo Musacchio.
It’s hard to make a comeback in the January market. They took Musacchio because they think he’s a player who can stay with Lazio, but he’s not the one who can turn the fortunes of the season around.
