Journalist Malena: “Lazio Are One of the Clubs That Have Made a Move for Messias”

Lazio are interested in signing Crotone forward Junior Messias in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Attilio Malena, a journalist for Il Calcio Calabrese (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Biancocelesti are considering signing the 29-year-old Brazilian this summer.

He is destined to leave. Crotone has been fundamental in his growth path, but he has shown he can do well in Serie A. There are many clubs that have asked for him in the January market. Teams such as Torino and Lazio are already making moves in June with a view to the next transfer window.

The valuation is between €4 and 5 million. Absolutely, Lazio are one of the clubs that has made a move for Messias. He’s an attractive player, with a competitive price. He has shown that he is functional for the team, he is a complete player.

Messias, who is contracted to Crotone until 2024, has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2309 minutes. In that time, he has scored six goals and provided three assists.
