Crotone forward Simy Nwankwo scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-2 against Lazio in this afternoon’s Serie A clash.
The 28-year-old Nigerian forward, who is contracted to Crotone until 2022, scored his second of the game and his 12th of the season to give the Calabrian side a fighting chance in today’s match against the Biancocelesti.
Crotone currently sit bottom of the Serie A table after 27 games and even a win against Lazio today wouldn’t help them escape the relegation zone, with 17th place Cagliari having 22 points.
