Former Italian midfielder Stefano Fiore signaled out Lazio’s depth concerns ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

One regular criticism of Lazio has been its depth. Lazio’s top stars such as Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto have continued to deliver for the club in all competitions this season. Still, one could see that the club may need to address several depth concerns within the team.

Fiore sees that the team can not continually rely on its top players to carry the team. The former Lazio talent wants (via Cittaceleste) the club to bolster its depth in order to have a balanced unit in all positions.

The period of the Biancocelesti is complicated. Even the victory against Crotone confirmed this. The squad, then, is not long enough. There are thirteen valid elements, more or less. In order to play differently in the Champions League, a certain gap must be bridged.

In order to become a permanent fixture in the Champions League, a certain type of market must be created. You can’t always rely on Immobile’s goals and the plays of Luis Alberto and Milinkovic.

Lazio will first be looking to finish off the season among the clubs that will play in the Champions League competition next season.
