Lazio have been following Villarreal defender Pau Torres for over two years now and are said to be interested in making a move for the Spaniard this summer.
According to a report from Italian media outlet SoloLaLazio earlier today, Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare has been a fan of the 24-year-old Spanish centre back for at least two years now and tried to open talks with Villarreal last summer for the player, to little success.

Many big clubs are interested in acquiring Torres including fellow Italians Juventus, and Villarreal are looking for least €25 million plus add-ons for the 24-year-old defender, whose contract expires with the Spanish side in 2024.
Torres has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Unai Emery’s side, for a total of 2865 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and helped the side keep nine clean sheets.
