The campaign includes a variety of national and international initiatives that will involve both the men’s and women’s squad, as well as those within the youth system.

Ahead of this week’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, the Biancocelesti reached a twinning agreement with FC Interculturale München, a team made up of refugees and asylum seekers who participate in the German third category league.

Other steps include the ‘Buuuball Human International Lazio Team’, where Lazio will twin with teams in cities that will host the Biancocelesti in European competition.

President Claudio Lotito discussed the campaign, saying:

S.S. Lazio, which has always been attentive to social integration initiatives, has decided to support the Buuuball project in the belief that football can be a tool for unity, integration and redemption, capable of breaking down any barrier.
