Lazio Star Luis Alberto Included in WhoScored’s Serie A Team of the Week

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto was included in WhoScored’s Serie A Team of the Week for the 27th match day.

As seen in a post on their Twitter page earlier today, the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder was included in the Team of the Week due to his strong performance in the Biancocelesti’s 3-2 win over Crotone on Friday last week.

Luis Alberto earnt an 8.6 rating for his performance, where he scored one goal, provided six key passes five accurate long through balls.

The 28-year-old Spaniard was recently snubbed by the Spanish national team, again not being called up for their upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers, despite his consistently strong performances for the Biancocelesti this season.

This campaign, Luis Alberto has made 28 appearances across all competitions for a total of 2209 minutes. In that time, he has scored eight goals and provided two assists, being a core part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s set-up.
