One of which is Valencia’s Pau Torres, but the Spaniard is wanted by many big clubs around Europe like Manchester City and Real Madrid, with Los Blancos apparently willing to pay his €50 million release clause.

Alternatives to Torres include 23-year-old Argentine centre back Lisandro Martinez, who has impressed with Ajax this season, and would cost around €25 million.

Lazio will continue to monitor these players and more as the summer draws closer, with defensive reinforcements clearly needed.
