Lazio’s Inzaghi Unsure Whether To Start Immobile-Caicedo Or Muriqi-Correa Against Bayern

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is unsure whether to start Ciro Immobile and Felipe Caicedo together or Vedat Muriqi and Joaquin Correa against Bayern Munich this evening.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 44-year-old Italian coach has still not made up his mind yet regarding the attacking duo for tonight’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash against Bayern.

Sunday’s Serie A clash against Udinese is an important game for the Biancocelesti as they look to stay in the race for a top four finish, and so Inzaghi could decide to rotate the offence a little.

The 31-year-old Immobile is coming from a difficult period, suffering from an Achilles tendon inflammation for some time now, but it would be a surprise to not see the European Golden Boot winner start in such a high-profile game.

Immobile has not scored since the win against Cagliari on the 7th February, but in the Champions League he has proven decisive, having scored five goals in five games.
