Formello: Lazio Coach Inzaghi Hoping That Lazzari Will Be Fit Enough to Face Udinese

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is hoping that Italian wing-back Manuel Lazzari will be able to take part in this weekend’s league clash against Udinese.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian wing-back suffered a finger injury in yesterday’s 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich, and coach Inzaghi is hoping that the former SPAL man will be fit enough to join the squad in Sunday’s game.

Inzaghi oversaw today’s training session in Formello, which only included players who did not feature against Bayern yesterday, whilst the rest of the squad underwent a light training session.

Mohamed Fares was entirely absent, dealing with a knee problem after coming off a half time in yesterday’s defeat. It’s likely that the Algerian wing-back will return after the upcoming international break.
