Lazio wing-backs Mohamed Fares and Manuel Lazzari were both taken off injured in yesterday’s Champions League loss to Bayern Munich, with one injury more serious than the other.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 25-year-old Fares was taken off at half time after feeling some discomfort in his knee, the same one that was operated on in 2019. He was replaced by Senad Lulic in the match.
