While Lazio gave it a good run, Bayern Munich clinched a 2-1 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg win to seal the tie victory.
The second leg of the tie gave Lazio players a chance to not only showcase their talent at the Allianz Arena but also to put forth a bounce-back performance.
Luis Alberto was among the Lazio players that had a promising showing in the match. The Spanish playmaker did not contribute a goal or an assist in the match. Still, he aimed to simply produce when Lazio was with and without possession.
Alberto went on to complete 31 passes, create one goal-scoring chance, win four ground duels and log four tackles won.
While Alberto failed to record a single goal or assist in this season’s Champions League competition, he did average a keen 2.0 key passes per game along with 2.8 tackles per game.
Alberto and company will now look ahead to Lazio’s upcoming league fixture against Udinese.
