Bayern Munich finished off Lazio in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie with a 2-1 second leg win. The result gave Bayern a 6-2 aggregate win as it officially clinched a spot in the quarterfinals of the competition.
Lazio knew that it had a grand battle ahead in the return match after its 4-1 loss in the first leg. Still, Ciro Immobile is pleased with how his teammates gave it an effort in the second leg.
Immobile posted a short message via his Instagram account reflecting on the showing.

Immobile did not go on to play in the return match. The Italian forward finished off his Champions League campaign with five goals scored, which led the team.
Immobile now looks ahead to the team’s remaining league fixtures this season.
