Lazio celebrated goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha’s 26th birthday today with a post on their Twitter page.

The Albanian shot stopper, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2022, joined the Biancocelesti when he was just 17 years old, in 2013, and managed to earn promotion to the first team from the Primavera squad.

This season he has lost coach Simone Inzaghi’s confidence and has often found himself playing second fiddle to Spanish veteran Pepe Reina.

Strakosha has only made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 720 minutes.

Lazio posted the Tweet alongside the caption:

Happy birthday Tommy!
