Lazio’s UEFA Champions League competition came to an end this week as they fell to FC Bayern Munich. Now the main focus for the Biancocelesti is trying to finish in the top four to qualify for next season’s competition.
Simone Inzaghi’s side currently sits six points outside of fourth place. Lazio needs points as the squad heads to Udine, Italy, to take on Udinese Calcio. Inzaghi spoke at a press conference, where Lazio News relayed the manager’s comments.
We know that tomorrow will be a difficult match. Udinese is enjoying a great run of form. They are very physical and well trained. But we want to play our game to give continuity to the victory against Crotone.
We have returned from a good match in Munich; we tried to take advantage of the few days available to recover sufficiently, both physically and mentally.
