Pepe Reina on Udinese-Lazio: “Three Points That We Needed A Lot”

Lazio notched a key 1-0 win over Udinese on matchday 27 for the side.

In the match, Pepe Reina earned the start for Lazio and wound up recording a clean sheet. The Spanish goalkeeper finished the fixture logging three saves with two of them coming from inside the box.

Following the match, Reina reflected on the win via his Instagram account.

Three points that we needed a lot. Now we have to recover both mentally and physically.

Two beautiful quiet weeks ahead. Good luck to the players featuring in the international break.

Reina has now recorded seven clean sheets in league play so far this season. This has come over 21 league appearances in the ongoing campaign.

Reina is retired from international duty with the Spanish national team. Thus, he will spend the upcoming weeks resting, which is surely much-needed for the veteran goalkeeper at this point in the season.
