Ex-Forward Cassano: “Don’t Forget Lazio In The Race For A Top-Four Finish In Serie A”

Former Roma and Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano highlighted that Lazio cannot be counted out in the race for a top four finish.

Speaking with Christian Vieri on his Twitch.tv channel (via Cittaceleste) earlier today, the 38-year-old Italian commented on the race to finish in the Champions League spots this season.

We have talked about Juve, Napoli, Milan, Atalanta and Roma. But let’s not forget Lazio. If they win against Torino, they’ll have 52 points, 3 points off fourth place.

The coach is someone we like a lot, Simone Inzaghi.

The Biancocelesti have been in a period of inconsistent form since their rough two legs against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in recent weeks, picking up nine points from their last five league outings.

Lazio’s next game is against Vincenzo Italiano’s Spezia on the 3rd of April, after the end of the international break.
