Sevilla Interested in Acquiring Lazio Coach Inzaghi & Star Midfielder This Summer

Sevilla are interested in signing both Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi and star midfielder Luis Alberto in the summer.

According to a report from Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Spanish side have been paying close attention to the delays surrounding Inzaghi’s contract renewal with the Biancocelesti and would be interested in hiring him in the summer to replace Julen Lopetegui.

The 44-year-old Italian coach has been in talks with Lazio president Claudio Lotito regarding a new contract for the majority of the season, but still hasn’t put pen to paper yet, despite apparently reaching an agreement.

Sevilla may also look to make a decisive move for 28-year-old Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto. Despite having a contract with Lazio until 2025, his attitude has often upset president Lotito and he could be sold for a hefty price.
