Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is waiting for a new meeting with president Claudio Lotito regarding a new contract.

Napoli have made the most concrete moves so far out of the clubs interested in hiring him, with contacts already being made in the past, and now Fiorentina have registered their interest as well.
Inzaghi is taking his time still, with Lotito’s €2.5 million per season offer still on the table and his desire to stay in the Italian capital still strong.

The 44-year-old Italian coach and Lotito have not met to discuss the contract since the 9th December, when the offer was formally made, as the Lazio president has been busy with other matters, especially those related to the inconsistent Covid-19 test results case.
Inzaghi is waiting for a new meeting to finalize the deal and will not listen to offers from other clubs until mid-April. After then, he will begin to look around more seriously.
