Prosecutor’s Office Opens Investigation Into the Death of Lazio Primavera Talent Guerini

The Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the death of Lazio Primavera talent Daniel Guerini.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the 67-year-old man who was driving the other car involved in the crash, a Mercedes A-Class, under the suspicion of vehicular homicide.

Officers from the Roma Capitale local police force of the Casilino Group have already carried out forensic examinations at the scene of the incident and are now in the process of collecting all information relevant to the investigation.

In addition, as soon as possible, the police will speak with Guerini’s two 18-year-old friends who survived the crash, one of whom is currently in critical condition in hospital.

The details of the accident are still being reconstructed and the two vehicles involved have been impounded.
