Formello: Lazio Duo Caicedo & Fares Return to Squad Training Ahead of Spezia Clash

Lazio duo Felipe Caicedo and Mohamed Fares returned to squad training today at Formello.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, both Caicedo and Fares re-joined the squad for today’s training session and should be available for this weekend’s league clash against Spezia.

The other players available to coach Simone Inzaghi in training today were Patric, Mateo Musacchio, Wesley Hoedt, Stefan Radu, Marco Parolo, Gonzalo Escalante, Lucas Leiva, Danilo Cataldi, Luis Alberto, Andreas Pereira, Senad Lulic, Joaquin Correa and Joseph Minala.

Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe was still absent, continuing his personalized training programme in the gym.

Today’s session was made up of a warm-up, proprioceptive work strength training with elastic bands, high hurdles and 50-metre runs, with the session ending with ball possession and a practice match, with the latter being missed by Leiva, Fares and Minala.

Over the next few days, the players who are away with their respective national teams will return before preparations start for the game against Spezia.
