Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto was ranked 15th in the CIES’ Best Players of the First Trimester 2021.
As seen in a report on the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) website earlier today, the 28-year-old Spaniard was 15th in the Best Players of the First Trimester for this year, ahead of players like Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suarez and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.

Luis Alberto has made 30 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2358 minutes. In that time, he has scored eight goals and provided two assists, being a key part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
The list was topped by Barcelona star Lionel Messi, with Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski in second and Chelsea’s Jorginho in third.

Looking exclusively at Serie A, Luis Alberto came in 5th, behind Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic and Atalanta’s Robin Gosens.
The basis of the parameters was the importance of each player for their respective team.
