Lazio Primavera Midfielder Daniel Guerini’s Funeral Takes Place in Rome

Lazio Primavera midfielder Daniel Guerini’s funeral will take place today at the Church of San Giovanni Bosco in Rome.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, many from the footballing world will be attending the 19-year-old Italian’s funeral, after he sadly passed away in a car crash last week.

From Lazio, President Claudio Lotito, sporting director Igli Tare, club manager Angelo Peruzzi, coach Simone Inzaghi, manager Alessandro Matri, some first-team players and the entire Primavera squad will be present.

Torino will be represented by general secretary Vincenzo D’Ambrosio, youth sector director Massimo Bava and perhaps president Urbano Cairo and his son, who was Guerini’s friend.

Other members of the footballing world who will attend include Fiorentina’s Primavera coach Alberto Aquilani and Roma U-19’s team manager Manuel Marzocca, as well as some other youth players.

The Questura di Roma has prepared a plan to guarantee the safety of attendees and proper following of the anti-Covid regulations.

Outside the church, the Lazio anthem will be played as a tribute to Guerini, who dreamed of becoming a Biancocelesti legend.
