“I Understand Everything the Coach Wants” – Andreas Pereira Comments on His Season With Lazio

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto will miss the Serie A clash against Spezia Calcio. As a result, one of the possible players to draw into the starting eleven for Simone Inzaghi is Andreas Pereira.

The 25-year-old spoke to the media, where Lazio News relayed his comments on various topics. One of the first questions that the midfielder answered is over the matchup versus Spezia.

We know it will be a difficult match. Spezia is a good team, but so are we. This is why we must only think about playing our game and winning.

Pereira also touched on his current season as the Manchester United FC midfielder hoped to have an opportunity to find minutes in the starting eleven consistently. However, that hasn’t been the case.

I’ve been here for six months now; I understand everything the coach wants and how we play. I feel much better than at the beginning of the season, and I am ready to play a great match.

Finally, one of the last questions that Pereira had to answer is his position on the Brazil national team. With two international tournaments over the next two years, the 25-year-old wants to find consistent minutes to showcase his talents to receive a call-up and play for the South American country.

I think about it, it’s normal. However, my main thought is to do well with Lazio; then, we’ll see if Brazil’s call will arrive.

If Luis Alberto is out for several fixtures, Pereira could have a chance to display his capabilities to earn more minutes.
