Italian Football Journalist Predicts Lazio’s Ciro Immobile Will Have a Big Performance for Italy at Euro 2020

Heading into the FIFA international break, Lazio striker Ciro Immobile finds himself in a cold streak for the Biancocelesti as he last scored on February 7th against Cagliari Calcio.

Nonetheless, Roberto Mancini called up Immobile, and the 31-year-old used his time with the Italy national team to snap his goal drought. In three games for the Azzurri, Immobile scored two goals.

Immobile’s performance for Italy during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers has Italian football journalist Francesco Repice stating during an appearance on Rai Radio 1 (via Citta Celeste) that the Lazio striker will have an incredible summer at the 2020 UEFA Euros.

Immobile is going through a particular moment but still managed to score two goals in three games. All the goals he does not score now he will score at the European Championships. Italy must play to win the title. I don’t care about the game; I want them to win.

The Lazio striker’s main competition is Torino FC’s Andrea Belotti; however, it seems that the position is Immobile to lose. Heading back to Lazio, the marksman needs to find his form and end the Serie A season on a high note to carry momentum into the Euro’s this summer for Italy.
