AC Milan Setting Up Talks With Lazio Target & Expiring Napoli Full-Back Hysaj

AC Milan are setting up talks with expiring Napoli full-back and Lazio target Elseid Hysaj’s agents.

According to a report from Italian media outlet AlfredoPedulla.com earlier today, the Rossoneri have decided not to buy Manchester United-owned full-back Diogo Dalot due to his €20 million price tag, and so are looking to fill the full-back role this summer.

The 27-year-old Hysaj is set to leave Napoli this summer after his contract expires, with both Lazio and Roma also keen to acquire the Albanian on a free transfer.

Hysaj wants around €3 million net per season in wages, but it may be possible to sign the player with a salary of €2.5 million net plus add-ons.

Qualification to the Champions League is a necessary condition to secure Hysaj’s signature, and with the Rossoneri currently second in the league table, they feel confident about acquiring the player.

Hysaj has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1481 minutes. In that time, he has provided two assists.
