Pereira has struggled to make an impact in Rome since arriving on loan last year, having only started five games across all competitions so far this season under coach Simone Inzaghi.
Many fans expected the 45-year-old Italian coach to utilize the 25-year-old Brazilian more, but he has struggled for consistent minutes and therefore would not be worth his €27 million buy option for the Biancocelesti.
