Former Italian Forward Giordano Claims Lazio is in Need of a Notable Roster Turnaround

Former Italian forward Bruno Giordano made his case on why Lazio may be in need of significant changes within its team.

Plenty of players have committed to staying at Lazio over the years despite interest from other clubs. From the likes of Luis Alberto to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, the Italian side has done its best to keep its core group of players.

However, Giordano sees that it may be time for a change within the team. In speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Giordano did not list any specific names but did claim that change should be on the horizon for Lazio’s roster.

Giving motivation to the same group for five to six years is problematic. If Inzaghi stays, I hope he can change a lot in the current squad. There are players over 30 who should be replaced. I don’t understand why he is waiting so long for the renewal. Lazio and Inzaghi know each other; the fans need clarity.

It will be noteworthy to see the moves that Lazio has in mind for the upcoming summer transfer window.
