Italian journalist Fabrizio Casinelli claimed that Lazio has what it takes to make a late push for a top-four spot in the Serie A standings.
Lazio remains outside the top-four in the league table as it currently sits at sixth place. The Italian side has been making the top-four race a bit more interesting due to its recent three-match winning streak. Still, Lazio is at four points behind fourth-place Juventus in the standings.
With what Casinelli has seen of Lazio as of late, he claims (via Cittaceleste) that this Biancocelesti side can pick up form en route to possibly finishing the season in the top-four of the league table.
If Lazio believe in it, they can finish in the top four.
This is a season of regrets when you think about the points they dropped against weaker opponents. But this is a strange championship and we knew it from the start.
Nonetheless, if the Biancocelesti were to believe in their abilities again, fourth place would be possible. The chase is tough, but head-to-head clashes can put the club back on track.
Lazio will certainly have to maintain its current promising form in order to give itself a chance at accomplishing this feat.
