Lazio Defender Luiz Felipe Expected Back in 10-15 Days With Recovery on Track

Lazio defender Luiz Felipe’s recovery is going well and he is expected to return to the squad in around 10-15 days.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 24-year-old Brazilian defender has been running on the pitch, in the gym and on the beach, working hard to recover from serious ankle surgery carried out back in January.

Luiz Felipe’s recovery is going according to plan and he is expected to be back in the match day squad by the end of the month.

Yesterday was an optional training day in Formello for the squad, and Romanian veteran Stefan Radu took advantage of this, training hard to further consolidate his Biancocelesti all-time appearance record.

Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto had physiotherapy on his ankle and is hoping to be fit in time for this Sunday’s league match against Hellas Verona.

A win against the Gialloblu on Sunday is vital if the club want to stay in the race for a top four finish and Champions League qualification.
