Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has set an important record with the Biancocelesti recently.
As seen in a post on OptaPaolo’s Twitter page earlier today, the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder is the third foreign Biancocelesti player to have won 100 league games with the club in the three-point era.
The other two players are club captain Senad Lulic, who has won 148 Serie A matches with Lazio, and Romanian veteran Stefan Radu, who has won 160 and also recently set the all-time club appearance record.
Milinkovic-Savic has been with the Biancocelesti since the summer of 2015 and has become one of the top midfielders in Europe, being a central part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
Contracted to Lazio until 2024, the 26-year-old Serb has made 34 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2882 minutes. In that time, he has scored six goals and provided 10 assists.
