Former Italian Midfielder Agostinelli Expects an Overhaul From Lazio This Summer

Former Italian midfielder Andrea Agostinelli gave his take on what kind of moves Lazio should give some thought into making over the upcoming summer transfer window.

Lazio is set to have multiple dilemmas within its club over the summer window. From Simone Inzaghi’s contract extension situation to depth issues, Lazio could be expected to make multiple team-changing moves.

Agostinelli predicts (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) that Inzaghi will go on to remain at the club, but player personnel moves could be on the horizon within the team.

Inzaghi has been with Lazio for years now, and he is a flag bearer. My thought is that after four years in the Lazio first team, the time has come to change either the coach or some of the players. Since I think Simone will stay, I expect almost a restart from scratch.

Inzaghi still has not signed off on a new extension deal with Lazio.
