Lazio remains a dark horse contender in this season’s Serie A top-four race. While the Biancocelesti is yet to comfortably hold a top-four spot in the league standings, the side still stands as a contender in this tightly-contested race.

Italian journalist Franco Recanatesi sees (via Cittaceleste) that even with Lazio’s current sixth place standing in the Serie A table, the Biancocelesti is well capable of pulling off of a late run towards a top-four finish.

Lazio is in sixth, but they can still hope for something more. However, the fact is that it will be very difficult to finish in the top four.

Tomorrow, the best result between Juventus and Napoli would be a draw. It would allow Lazio to be able to make up even more ground.

But first of all, Lazio must think about winning. I hope that the match with Torino will be made up in the final part of the season.

Now would be the right time for Lazio to put together another lengthy winning streak.
