Simone Inzaghi to Sign Contract Renewal With Lazio Lasting Until 2024

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has reached an agreement regarding a contract renewal with the Biancocelesti today, which will run until 2024.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, both the 45-year-old Italian coach and president Claudio Lotito were present at Formello today to celebrate Stefan Radu’s all-time appearance record with the club, and the festive atmosphere may have helped finally bridge the gap.

The agreement is based on Inzaghi earning €2.5 million net for the first year, with his salary set to increase from season to season, with substantial add-ons linked to achieving qualification to the Champions League.

The 45-year-old Inzaghi has been with the Biancocelesti since 2016 and has guided the club to a Coppa Italia, two Supercoppa Italiana and a return to the Champions League, where the team reached the Round of 16.
