Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is currently going through a difficult period with his wife Gaia in hospital and his family suffering from Covid-19.
According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 45-year-old Italian coach is stuck at home in isolation with his two children Andrea and Lorenzo, whilst his wife Gaia is in hospital after suffering complications from Covid.

Initial tests in the hospital have ruled out pneumonia, but Gaia needs treatment that cannot be given at home and so still remains in hospital, leaving Inzaghi worried at home with his two sons.
Yesterday the 45-year-old Italian worked with his staff during the 1-0 win over Hellas Verona and has been consistently in touch with the club, overseeing training sessions and taking part in technical meetings.
This period is incredibly delicate for Inzaghi, as he cannot simply stop to focus on his family, as Lazio are still keenly involved in the fight for a top-four finish in Serie A this season.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s important winner yesterday gives Inzaghi some relief, but this will certainly not be a period that the 45-year-old Italian looks back upon fondly.
